The satisfaction of a scrub for the health of your hair
Its preached and practiced to shampoo our hair as little as possible. And for good reason. Over washing leads to an increase in oil production, removes necessary scalp oils that nourish our follicles and strands and can lead to over drying of our hair in general.
This change in our haircare routine can lead to unwanted scalp and product build up, as well as itchiness and discomfort. If you've ever experienced a spa worthy pedicure scrub, than you know the satisfaction of having those rough skin spots sloughed off. Why not experience the same glory and feeling with your scalp?
Another stellar benefit of exfoliating build up is it allows for your hair follicles to breath properly. An over abundance of buildup or dead skin scales can slowly suffocate the parts of your hair where growth occurs. Hair is technically dead once grown out from our follicles, so its super important that the roots of our strands remain healthy, balanced and unclogged.
Our Grit Scalp Exfoliant quickly and easily removes buildup to reveal a happier, more breathable scalp environment.
- Organic Cane Sugar gently scrubs away scalp scales and product buildup
- Organic Coconut Oil softens and heals while fortifying your strands and scalp from the inside out
- Saponified Coconut Oil (coconut soap) helps wash away the scrub and some oil so as not to leave the hair weighed down
- Organic Lavender Oil adds a fresh and soothing scent, while calming the scalp and softening your hair
To Use: Apply scrub to dry scalp and hair prior to shampooing. Gently rub Grit Scalp Exfoliant in small circular motions around your head. Once your entire scalp has been scrubbed, rinse under warm water and follow with your normal shampoo and conditioner routine. We recommend using Grit Scalp Exfoliant once a month or as needed.
